ABC lines are so helpful for reminding students of correct letter formation, what letter to use for capitalization, and putting words in alphabetical order.

This board helps my students remember some of the word parts we have highlighted throughout the year. Greek and Latin word parts are the toughest (we put those in the root section), but once they master them, they can continuously add examples (leaves) throughout the year seeing their vocabulary and the tree get thicker and thicker!

Set up a "homework options" chart. Maybe put a weekday at the top of each column, allow them to choose from that column. Staple to the top of all completed hw on Friday, with their choice for each night colored in/signed.
