Every time you let kids use flash cards, they inevitably end up building towers out of them. For this activity, they are actually encouraged to make a card tower! Once students correctly answer a flashcard, they may use it to construct a tower. If the tower falls over, they have to answer the flashcards all over again. Fun to use in place of a worksheet to give them practice with rote memorization of math facts.

I would use a Jenga tower for articulation therapy. I would place cards containing the phoneme (ex: /k/ on each level and use a token (or pennies, for example) to track the client's progress. Once she reaches the top, she can draw/build something out of playdough/etc. (hopefully something containing the targeted phoneme). :) 1260hours.tumblr....

Bazinga. Use library pocket cards and any kind of educational playing cards. Place one card in each pocket and a silly card (cartoon character, etc) in 3 of the other pockets. As the student tries to find the cartoon character, they pull out other cards and have to do what they say (math problems, sight words, quiz questions, etc.). Once they find the special cards they yell Bazinga!
