Kukla, Fran and Ollie is an early American television show using puppets, originally created for children but soon watched by more adults than children. It did not have a script and was entirely ad-libbed. It first aired from Oct. 1947 to May 1957.

Kukla, Fran and Ollie Creator/Puppeteer Burr Tillstrom, and Fran Allison are pictured with Puppet stars Kukla and Ollie. The show debuted on NBC in 1947 and ran till 1957. Like many early shows, it did not have a script and was entirely adlib. Live TV was great then!
