"Easy homemade bath salts recipe. Great gift idea! In a large bowl, mix to combine: 6 parts coarse sea salt; 3 parts epsom salts, to soothe tired muscles and reduce inflammation; 1 part baking soda, to soften waters and alleviate skin irritation. Add a few drops of essential oils, and combine. Add a few drops of food coloring, until you achieve the desired shade. If you intend to present the bath salts as gifts, be sure to store them in a stoppered and labeled container to keep out moisture."

Homemade Bath Salts. Take 4 cups of sea salt or Epsom Salts. Mix in several drops of Lavender essential oil and, if you wish, dried fragrant plants, such as lavender or eucalyptus. Pour into a jar for yourself or to give as a gift. Use a few spoonfuls of salts per bath; to keep herbs from floating, spoon the mixture into a spice sachet (available at gourmet grocery stores).

Check out this bath salt tutorial/recipe so you, too, can enjoy a nice relaxing soak. Not in my tub, though. You'll have to do that in your own.
