Lighted flower pots with photo faces. Mom always said that when she died, she wanted the word's "I Tried" to be her motto. We decorated the box with her ashes with this motto and will inter them with my dad's grave the day before the service.
I tried to make Washi candles like I saw on Pinterest. I tried to make the wicks interesting but may make them all similar next time. There is a lot going on in this insert!
The Love Wall: When I was growing up, my mom had large red letters spelling LOVE on a long wall with numerous family photo's. Here is my version of a LOVE mantle with photo gourds.
Gourdeous Gourds: For my mom's upcoming Celebration of Life service, I made photo gourds out of old duplicate pictures of her. I hope they will not rot before her service!
Photo Sticks made with Target dollar bin paper straws and clothespin's for mom's celebration service. Mini pom flowers in small vases and jars. Each table will have a photo gourd and a photo vase.
I found this beautiful collage on the community board in Carpenter's Woods recently. It was so unexpected and featured an amazing quite. Art is EVERYWHERE!
