I think this is important for students to see. Far to often students are reading material and they have no idea what kind of genre or type of material they are reading. This is a good breakdown: fiction, nonfiction, dictionary, almanac, etc.

Cool idea....I could make something like this for a guided reading group reading a NF book and ask them to provide page numbers/evidence. We could talk about how text features add to the reader's experience.
