Dark chocolate, almond paste, and whipping cream make a rich filling for packaged crescent roll dough in this simple dessert. This is a good backup for when I run out of the frozen Trader Joe's chocolate croissants that I love so much.
Pecan Pie Cupcakes: 1 cup chopped pecans, cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup packed brown sugar, cup butter (melted), 2 eggs. Bake in mini muffin tins. Similar to Pecan Tassies but without the trouble of making individual crusts. How easy is that?
Homemade “Bisquick” 2 cups flour ¼ cup shortening 1 tsp salt 2 tbls baking powder Combine all ingredients in a bowl and beat with mixer on low until it is the consistency of bisquick. Use in any recipe where you would use regular bisquick.
