Vincent Van Gogh - The students were able to create a giant sunflower creating emphasis in their artwork. Then they were shown how to blend colors using oil pastels. The students had to choose a cool color for their background to make their sunflower "pop" in their piece of art.

Vincent van Gogh for Kids

Creating Movement Exercise: van Gogh techniques for kids. Students will learn how to color or paint and make it look like there is movement within the picture.

"I Like Art Because..." Kids draw themselves making a painting with a speech bubble explaining WHY they love art - good for advocacy!

3rd Grade? Simple perspective, pattern, (could do with Changable markers or the new Switchers crayola markers?)

This would be awesome for art class.
