在犍陀羅的雕刻中,有單尊的佛、菩薩像,還有佛傳圖、本生圖等故事內容的浮雕,也存在不少介於上述兩者之間的浮雕圖像:從以結跏趺坐於蓮花座上結轉發輪印的佛陀為中心,與左右二脅侍菩薩構成單純三尊像的形式開始,到後來發展到中央的坐佛與周圍眾多佛、菩薩、供養人等構成一種淨土變相的形式,圖像表現形式趨於多樣化。在諸如主尊台座、印相、花樹、化佛、供養人乃至衣著形式(偏袒右肩)和菩薩的類型等種種方面,表現上又具有共同的圖像要素,因此在犍陀羅雕刻中,又形成了一種特別的類型。這種形式可能對後來的所謂「經變圖」是有影響的。   (這尊造像上面共67位人物)
