Repurposed wedding dress Celia & Sara Grigsby Celia cut out all the layers of satin and tulle from the original dress. The train was cut off the back and an arc was cut in the front. She hemmed the dress and gathered it up in two spots in the front. We took a forest green acrylic paint and watered it down. We painted it onto the dress with soft brushes. We used about 2 coats and blended with the brush so there were no harsh water marks. This made such a fun party dress!
