This is so true and a lot of parents don't realize this. Even when they are little, they know whether they are a priority or not. I will always have a listening ear for my baby girl. The little things matter too, sometimes just as much as the big stuff. Being a parent is the most important job one could ever have, and unfortunately, if you don't do your job well, there is no turning back.

"To those who have struggled with them, the mountains reveal beauties they will not disclose to those who make no effort. That is the reward the mountains give to effort and it is because they have so much to give and give it so lavishly to those who will wrestle with them that men love the mountains and go back to them... again and again. The mountains reserve their choice gifts for those who stand on their summits". Sir Frances Youngblood

amazing girl. In 1967, Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to run the Boston marathon. After realizing that a woman was running, race organizer Jock Semple went after Switzer shouting, “Get the hell out of my race and give me those numbers.” However, Switzer’s boyfriend and other male runners provided a protective shield during the entire marathon. The photographs taken of the incident made world headlines, and Kathrine later won the NYC marathon with a time of 3:07:29.
