Queen, Sheer Heart Attack**** (1974): It's pretty amazing to me how many songs from this early period of metal that Metallica has covered in the course of their careers. They've drawn upon Budgie, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, and Queen. The song from this album is "Stone Cold Crazy." What further amazes me is that the Queen original rocks as hard as the Metallica cover. The range of this band (Queen) absolutely amazes me. 4/7/14)

IMO Queen's most guitar driven album, not to say there isn't a load of piano and Freddie's stunning multitracked vocals, AND IMO this is the first album to show the full flowering of their genius and the Queen sound
