This is the Kid's Den from HGTV's 2014 Smart Home. But I like this as family room inspo (only not with paint that dark.)

really loving dark dark navy walls. Accent behind fireplace? In small hall bath? Maybe competes with everything light and bright I love.

Chic Gallery Wall with lovely bench stacked with books....great idea for an entryway or Hallway or focal wall in living room.

What's that depressed area? Is that part of the yard?

  • Toni Ballinger

That depressed area is behind the yard and is a pond/catchment basin with a creek and beautiful woods and wetland beyond it. It has cattails and other tall grasses in it and will have lots of wildlife that varies over the course of the year. What a view.

Love it! The window is a PLUS as most powder rooms feel like a small dark closet ;)
