This eye-catching shell is a junonia or Juno's volute #mollusk, & they're known to wash up on shore very rarely--usually after strong storms! This #Florida species lives in deeper waters through the Gulf of Mexico. The #shells can grow to ~5 in. long, and are covered in square brown spots.
