Parking Lot Game -- call out a word (or letter) & they "park" the car in that place. Perfect for sight words or letter sounds!

Copy letters onto paper and hang on fridge. Have kids match magnetic letters to those on sheet, stating what letter it is. For further practice think of words that start with that letter.

I made this during our transportation theme! A-Z parking lot. Perfect for letter recognition/uppercase & lowercase. My students still use it! :)

Creating a Transitions Box for a Child with Special Needs

Transition Box for kids with Special Needs. such a key element and a lot of teachers have no idea about it. YES! <3

First week of school time capsule- stamp & date their itty hand prints, measure their height with yarn, and have them fill out a little first day info sheet with their self portrait on the back. Then save 'till the last day of school and have them open it and do the exact same activity! It’ll be so much fun to see how much they grow and change within a year! Love this idea! (download sheets!)
