If God answers your prayers, He is increasing your faith. If God delays, He is increasing your patience. If God doesn't answer, He has something better for you.| prayers http://media-cache4.pinterest.com/upload/165648092513825432_PieDl7An_f.jpg deai encouraging quotes

Do You Believe That God Answers All Prayers? Ever prayed for something and waited and waited and waited for an answer? Yeah, me too, but you know what God's Word says that he will answer our prayers under certain guide lines. God is not a genie in a bottle! We can not just go to Him and be selfish and ask for our hearts desires, this is not how it works. You see God has an amazing plan, a will, a perfect will for us. All we have to do is seek Him, Love Him, give Him our hearts, and abide in Him. It sounds hard yet simple, right? Well, in this little study the Holy Spirit will show you two requirements to have answered prayers as long as they are a part of God's perfect will in your life. Have I mastered this? Absolutely not, I am flesh just like all of you and we will most likely never live up to the standard, but that is why God sent His only begotten Son (John 3:16) for us. Take a look at this and let me know what you think. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7). The bible is filled with answered prayers from Genesis to Revelation. With that said, the Word of God commands us to pray, and God has promised to answer (Jeremiah 33:3). Then in (John 15:7) we see that there are two requirements for answers to prayer. The first is, we are to abide in Him, that is, to continue in Him. It means to remain in His perfect will at all cost (Romans 12:1-2). And the second is, His words are to abide in you, they are to become a vital part of our lives. We are to be filled with, and guided by, His words (Colossians 3:16-17). Meet these two requirements and your prayers will be answered. A couple of things to remember though: The answer is sometimes immediate. Peter walked on the water to go to Jesus, and as he began to sink, he prayed, "Lord, save me." The answer was immediate (Matthew 14:22-31). The answer is sometimes delayed. The delay is according to God's will (Romans 8:28). The resurrection of Lazarus is a great example of this. Lazarus was sick. Mary and Martha sent for Jesus to come and heal him, but when Jesus delayed coming until Lazarus was dead and in the tomb for four days. Then when Jesus came and raised Lazarus from the dead it showed that the prayers answer was delayed but not denied (John 11:1-44). The answer is sometimes "No". When God answers with a "No," He always accompanies the answer with peace (Philippians 4:6-7) and grace (II Corinthians 12:7-10). The answer is sometimes different from what we would expect. You pray for patience and God sends tribulation - because - "Tribulation worketh patience" (Romans 5:3). God answers all your prayers - not according to your wishes, but according to His perfect will.

Isaiah 66:9.. God's promise. My Bible says the reverse: "Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says your God. The pain comes first, as if it must come first and not so much that birth or something good, always follows pain. A message of hope either way but the painted sign is a bit softer and more hopeful. Fitting.

Once we have called, our next step is to watch. He has never broken a promise and He is promising to show us great and mighty things we do not know. God finds joy not only in our asking but also in our anticipation that follows. Lets not rob Him of them!

I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time--waking and sleeping. It does not change God. It changes me. ~ C.S. Lewis

Saving people is a really hard task - it won't always work. But what you can do is love them, make them feel special and let them know there's someone who cares about them and that their life is worth living.
