INSPIRATION- Love her Home Management System- need to find cute file folder box

  • Kerri Brown

Kitchen command center (with a folder for everyone so there are no more piles on the counter). I didn't include the calendar because I already had a space on the wall for that. I LOVE having a folder for each kiddo. I bought decorative file folders (3/$1) at Walmart, and they even have a spot to write notes in them! I am thinking GREAT for babysitters and such!

Another Mail organization Idea - Household Organizing System for the Kitchen Counter

  • Twinnie two

Household Organizing System for Kitchen Counter. Use hanging file folders to separate categories. Have one folder designated just to toss receipts into, to organize later! Keep take out menus handy in another. Another for local information to have handy: recycling center hours of operation, church and town hall information, etc.

IKEA Hack: DIY Command Center with Storage and Chalkboard. Definitely gonna have some serious organization in my house :)

This is a great idea from Iron & Twine. It actually started as three Expedit shelving units from IKEA but when turned on its side, it offers a great storage and organization center that makes a perfect command station.

I like these too. Maybe only do 3 of them . . . ACT, FILE, USE Then each business would have a folder in each basket.

Great way to organize all of the family paperwork and keep track of everyones schedules. This has lots of good tips!

Kitchen Command Center - Oh goodness, LOVE this!! I really love the cord basket and Dad's basket! Our junk drawer would be no more! : ) I don't think I have a spare cabinet, but I like the idea!

inspiration: family command center - this is SO much cuter than a big ugly white board

Love that it's one week at a time, and HUGE, so no forgetting events/appointments!

kitchen command center: IKEA metal file rack with vinyl numbers (love!) and framed chore charts/schedules for each person...could also write on glass with dry erase markers

Another great idea from Tip Junkie - I'm going to use the bucket idea. and of course write the names in vinyl - simplysaiddesigns...

Could be done in one central place or for each bedroom. I'm thinking it would be great to keep track of chores, events, etc. in the house I'm living in (with 9 other girls) next year!

Love when a design plan is well thought out! Creative Counter Space: Creative stow-and-go solutions are a must in a small kitchen space. Here, a rolling cart tucks neatly into this island to offer additional workspace as needed. The cart can be wheeled throughout the kitchen to give multiple cooks room for meal prep and staging.
