TITANIC // Amer. epic romantic disaster film by James Cameron, 1997. I remember seeing this in the movie theater w/ my mom when I was in the 7th grade. Crazy how it feels like it was just yesterday.

Although not up to the same historical level of Saving Private Ryan, The King's Speech or Lincoln, I believe Titanic carries a message just as strong as all three: material items don't go with us when we die. Our lives, and the people we love, are worth more than jewelry. I'm not the world's biggest James Cameron fan, but where he's got a point I absolutely agree with, especially when it's about the Titanic, I can't ignore it.

Love this movie. it's one of those movies that I have to love. And they got all the history right.

Fifteen years later, I still adore this movie. I really think Kate should have taken best actress, her range was amazing, she was just breathtaking to watch.

"I'm not an idiot. I know how the world works, I've got 10 bucks in pocket, I have nothing to offer you and I know that. But I'm too involved now. You jump I jump, remember? I can't turn away without knowing you'll be alright. That's all I want."
