Aung San Suu Kyi ~ (Burma) ~ Placed under House Arrest Without Charge or Trial in 1989 until 2010. Suu Kyi's only 'crime' was wanting a better life for the people of her Country, asking her Government for 'free and democratic' voting in elections. In 1991 Suu Kyi won the Nobel Peace Prize. On June 21, 2012, Suu Kyi spoke to Parliament in a Joint Session at Westmenster Hall in UK, eliquently expressing her hopes & prayers for the betterment of the people of Burma.
