Art Deco is A decorative style that was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. It had bold geometric shapes with strong colors and was used on objects around the house and architecture. Art Deco was a movement in decorative arts. It got its name from a fair held in Paris in 1925. Art Deco was a major style in Europe since the early 1920s. It did not become popular in the U.S. until about 1928.
