Ever After A Cinderella Story (1998). - not only a beautiful dress but also one of my most favorite movies
"Before I knew what feminism was I was is love with the cinderella story, and also... rennaissance festivals, so when everafter came out... i was pretty damn convinced my wedding would involve a dress that very closely resmebled this one... and plenty of glitter on my face to go along with it."
Ever After. (Cinderella) Costume at the ball. Most favorite movie ever. I had my wedding gown fashioned after this very gown and handmade in a beautiful off white
No movie costume board would be complete without... The "Just Breathe" Dress from Ever After.
Pretty sure the woman I'm repinning this from didn't actually watch the movie because this version of the cinderella story was pretty big on feminism, but ok... Her comment: "Before I knew what feminism was I was is love with the cinderella story, and also... rennaissance festivals, so when everafter came out... i was pretty damn convinced my wedding would involve a dress that very closely resmebled this one... and plenty of glitter on my face to go along with it." YOU DON'T GET IT.
Favorite movie, and favorite dress of all time. Just Breathe!

Elizabeth Taylor Cleopatra $1 million | ... taylor cleopatra Elizabeth Taylor Rich as a Queen; Estate Tops $1
Elizabeth Taylor - Cleopatara headdress--she was so beautiful and the costumes made for her for the movie "Cleopatra" made me fall in love. The movie wasn't given good-reviews by the critics, but I loved it. Author, Margaret George wrote a version of the historical Cleopatra that may have made a better screen-play, but that was about 40 yrs. late.
Cleopatra (1963): Starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton – One of Taylor’s most significant roles, this movie portrays the life of Queen Cleopatra. Cleopatra reigns over Egypt in the most glamorous jewels; most noteworthy in the gold headdress she wears. Cleopatra was known for loving Emeralds and adorning herself with different kinds of jewels – much like the late starlet who played her.
ELIZABETH TAYLOR in "Cleopatra" 1963 as Queen of the Nile. Taylor wore many different hairdos in the movie and British wigmaster Stanley Hall made three wigs for each style.
Elizabeth Taylor's beautiful head dress in the role of Cleopatra- one of my favorite movies as a kid!
elizabeth taylor, I actually got to see the head dress at the Paley center in Beverly Hills, what is so interesting it was Debbie Reynolds Hollywood costumes , she purchased thousands and thousands of costumes the studios sold off. It was life and how it works , if you know the history of the two. Life in the movies is no where as life and art mixing.
The movie Cleopatra was banned in Egypt because of suspicions that Elizabeth Taylor was a Zionist agent.

Norma Shearer as Marie Antoinette (1938) Carolyn Weber, who wrote Marie Antoinette, Queen of Fashion, said that this film had some amazing examples of the 'pouf' headdress that MA was so famous for - even better than Sophia Coppola's film.
