homemade heating pad, magic bag. I literally just made this in like 20 minutes and I don't own (nor know how to operate) a sewing machine. I just sewed it by hand, added rice, 1/4 cup of dried lavendar and it turned out pretty awesome! The lavendar makes it smell sooo good and it doesn't have that weird half-cooked rice kinda smell. craftyendeavor Crafty Endeavor website shares how to make a relaxing rice shoulder heating pad that has soothing lavender sewn inside to help heal sore muscles. The pattern is shaped to form easily around your neck and shoulders to spread heat where you need it the most.
This simple sewing project makes a useful get well gift, and you can customize it with your choice of aromatherapy for a little extra indulgence. My preference is lavender, but you can also add mint, eucalyptus, or cloves
