It is clear that Numen/For Use never gave up on their childhood love of forts and tree houses. Luckily for us, they have turned that passion into a practice. After bringing us the inhabitable tape-hammock and the enchanting net, they've finally debuted their latest installation: The String Prototype. Part blowup castle, part giant spider web, this is the jungle gym as we’ve never seen it before.
Cloud is a large scale light installation by artist Caitland Brown. Created from steel, metal pull strings, and 6,000 light bulbs, Cloud lets its viewers experience a shimmering cloud first hand. Viewers can actually stand underneath the installation and pull the strings, turning on and off the lights controlling the overall glow of the cloud. How magical?!
