Old Mills hold a special place in my heart~My Husband and I were married at Deep River State Park next to that Mill in NW Indiana~where I went as a child with my Mom. ♥

I wish I could get this image in a print, it would hang in my home for sure. Evokes the snuggly feeling I want in my Home.

Old Barn.... pretty cool venue. Especially if you can find one that is may abandoned or see if the owners would let you rent it...

This old barn has led a long, industrious life....its beauty enhanced by the lively colors in the foreground.

Ashamed to say that this looks just like my barns - beautiful, but should do something about them!

how i adore red barns. don't know why. maybe i was a cow in a previous life :)

Old barns built by people of German heritage (such as the Amish) usually had a "ramp" made out of earth, going to the main door. Barns by people of Scandanavian heritage were often completely stone, with no ramps. Neat!

There was one of these in Sebring...Loved the ice cream, loved the shape of the building....miss that place!
