Can use the one inch graph paper and have every student make their own. Have students work in pairs. Each have 10 blocks of a different colour and a blank copy of a chart. Each pair trades one colour cube to the other and colours the chart to match.

This anchor chart relates to the NCTM standard of selecting an appropriate unit and tool for the attribute being measured because it provides children with initial information on the various measuring tools and units that are out there.
