In 1956, B.B. King recorded "Sweet Little Angel". According to King, "I got the idea for 'Sweet Little Angel' from Robert Nighthawk's 'Sweet Black Angel'.  Instead of using the old title, I changed it to 'Sweet Little Angel' and that was a pretty big record for me". The Apollo Theater Legends Hall of Fame has inducted such renowned performers and music-industry figures as  B. B. King, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy and more than a dozen other performers.
