POPCORN GAME for SIGHT WORD PRACTICE. This is a hands-on game for sight word practice. It is titled the "Popcorn Game" and features Thistlegirl Clipart. Each player gets a movie-themed mat with the object being to fill it. All of the sight word cards are placed upside down. The players take turns drawing cards, reading the word and placing it on their mat. If the player draws a popcorn card he must clear his board and return all of his cards to the pile.
Here is a great, free, word game idea that is terrific for literacy centers, small groups or even one-to-one remedial help! It's great for sound blending, strengthening verbal reasoning skills, sequential processing and more. It's totally addicting and your students will love it.
They say that ...when you find yourself, try to become a better person all your shitty friend ...well, they will be gone. God will not allow you to work on you, let you get better and heal and keep bad friends that influence you the wrong way. that is not going to happen.
LOVE THIS it's not just about being a positive person, it's about our power to change our lifes, to guide them, if not in the exact direction we had planned, at least in a good one. The ability to choose the outcome of wether you'll be happy or not. This is one of my favorite quotes and deserves my personal comment on it (something I had never done while pinning) because it fills me with HOPE.
