Cheesy Hash Browns ~ These are VERY good! You can find the potatoes in the refrigerated section near the eggs at Walmart. The recipe is on the back of the package, but it's nice to know in advance the ingredients needed. So many great ideas, easy recipes that I shouldve thought of, and drool worthy photos that give you a hankering to go to the store immediately and just cook your life away. I'm a potato girl so these were a no-brainer....super de duper easy and great for a crowd. Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole...■2 lbs. frozen hash browns, thawed ■3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted and divided ■1/4 teaspoon pepper ■1 teaspoon salt ■1/2 cup chopped onion (Jane Ann substituted dried minced onion) ■1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup ■1 pint (2 cups) sour cream (regular or light) ■2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese ■2 cups crushed corn flakes
Made these for the brunch, everyone loved them, used frozen hashbrowns thawed, mixed all ingredients besides the hashbrowns, put it in the fridge overnight then in the morning added the hashbrowns and threw them in the crockpot:)
