easy lap quilt by tcockburn2002, via Flickr I cut 10 x 5 rectangles from various red fabrics, created blocks using two different red panels, and then did a fence row-esque pattern, alternating vertical and horizontal placement. Simple straightline quilting and used strips of reds for my binding. Used a bedsheet for the backing in a nice grey.
(No pattern) So cute. I see it's a 9-patch. If I were to use 5x5 charms, I'd cut a colored charm into 4 pieces vertically and horizontally to make 4 2.5" blocks. Then take a white square and sew two of the little squares diagonally in 2 corners.
This quilt pattern is an original design, SJ #029. It works with just about any type of fabric. It comes with directions for five sizes: Baby 36" x 48" Lap quilt 48” x 60” Twin 60” x 84” Full/Queen 84" x 84" King 96" x 96" Pattern sold out on etsy
