The Waco siege was a deadly 1993 siege of a Branch Davidians compound, by the US federal and Texas state law enforcement and military at the Mount Carmel Center ranch in the community of Elk, Texas, nine miles from Waco. A siege was initiated by the FBI, resulting in a much publicised 51 day standoff. Eventually, during an FBI launched assault involving tear gas, a fire engulfed Mount Carmel Center and 76 men, women, and children, including David Koresh, died.
This photo shows an agent posing on a captured Branch Davidian motorcycle. Note the painting on the bike's gas tank, which depicts a six-winged guitar-playing long-tailed seraph and the words 'Rock 'n' Roll'. (I believe that the Branch Davidian flag is illustrated with a six-winged dragon or serpent.)
