American Bald Eagle in the mid-60's there were only 450 nesting pairs. Today there are more than 9,000 nesting pairs of bald eagles in the lower 48 states(news story April 2012)

I didn't realize for a long time how blessed I have been to live in this great country. I pray for its peace and prosperity - and for it once again to become the godly nation it once was. I'm so thankful to have been born and raised here. dw

Bald Eagle; "Our recent visit to Grouse Mountain in Vancouver included another interesting exhibition, “Birds in Motion”. A group called The Canadian Raptor Conservancy puts on daily demonstrations of birds of prey doing their thing, free flight. About to land, this eagle had slowed to a speed where he was much easier to photograph"
