Fantastic Homemade Hand Cream: (Updated recipe call for coconut oil instead of vaseline) Can sometimes find the ingredients at the Dollar Store :) 16 ounces baby lotion, 8 ounces coconut oil (solid form, not melted), 8 ounces vitamin E cream Mix together with handheld mixer until it resembles icing. Store in air tight containers…keep it for your own supply…or label and give as great gifts!

Expensive, but worth it! Took a jar to work and now everyone wants to make it.

We make this with all the items from Dollar General. I believe it costs about $7 but lasts FOREVER! My family has been making this for years and it takes about a year and a half, if not longer, to go through all of the lotion. Helps cracked heels and many other things. It also smells great!

I just made this today ! I have EXTREMELY dry, cracked, peeling skin on my hands and feet. I am hoping I can get some serious moisturizing from this stuff. So far it feels great on, at first a little greasy (I am sure from the vaseline) but it pretty much soaked in. The only complaint I have is the baby lotion scent. I am not a fan of smelling like a baby's bottom! Next time I will find one of the other scents of baby lotion!

Homemade Hand Cream - This stuff is awesome! I made some last winter. My go-to is usually Bath and Body Works but I sometimes need something more intensive. If you are planning to put this in bottles use a rubber spatula to scoop the cream into a Ziploc bag and then snip off a bottom corner. You can then squeeze the cream into the bottles easily!

Honey Butter Lotion: 2.8 oz combined oils (shea, cocoa butter, apricot, almond and olive), 1.5 oz coconut oil, .5 oz beeswax, .7 oz of raw honey. Melt it on low. Tried it, and it's divine! I added beeswax and ascorbic acid.
