Future kids' stuff: Metal mailboxes spray painted outside kids bedrooms. Leave them little notes, any mail they get, some treats, & hang their backpack and coat on the hooks.

Metal mailboxes spray painted. Hang them outside the kids rooms. I really want to do this! And leave them little notes, any mail they get, some treats, etc. Then they can hang their backpack and coat on the hooks! GREAT idea!

I am GOING to do this...The towel bar was simple to find, but we were having trouble finding the right kind of hooks. A nice associate at Home Depot gave me the idea to use shower curtain hooks. I ended up finding hooks at Target with two slots. I picked up a package of 12, along with an 18 inch towel bar, for less than $25.

Beautiful idea but $32 on etsy + $10 s/h. I know that I can make this for about 2-3 bucks with a piece of barn wood, leftover kids blocks and some hooks. I don't care that much for the black blocks think that I would distress them in their natural colors

Window Treatment Ties Add buttonholes across the top edge of each panel and hang with coordinating fabric ties. This is really cute. doesn't the fabric look like a throw with that fringed side??? great idea!

Spray painted mailboxes to hold their coats and backpack. I also put their notes and reminders from school in their mailbox.

Easy abstract painting that anyone can do! Just blob the paint on the canvas in random spots and blend! (would be interesting how students could make different pictures w/ the same colors and same blob positions)

Vintage Red Metal Porch Mailbox - Maybe not the right color, but style is great!
