DORSET - Lulworth Cove

Lulworth Cove along Jurassic Coast, England - Some 10,000 years ago, ocean waves broke through bands of clay and sand along the shoreline, leaving a narrow opening bordered by limestone. As waves continued to crash through the opening, they bent into an arc, an action that eventually eroded the soft clay deposits inside, forming this unique, circular shape.
