We all know that heat can damage your hair, but we simply can't live without our curling iron or straightener. Here's how long each heating tool should stay on your hair!

    1. Set all hair with big hot rollers for 10 min. and let loose once they're cool. 2. Comb hair smoothly back and to one side on the back of your head. Pin hair flat down to one side. 3. Start twisting up, counterclockwise so you are twisting over the bobby pins already in place. Twist all the way up, pinning as you go (tip: crisscross the pins, the twist will stay better). 4. Once secure, fluff out the curls coming out of the top. 5. Pull out a couple of pieces around your face and spritz with.

Twist your hair, and slip your bobby pin underneath to secretly pin back your strands. If you're looking for a way to pull back the sides of your hair but don't want the pins to show, try this simple technique: Insert a bobby pin with the open end pointing toward your face and in the opposite direction of the section you're pinning back. If one bobby pin isn't strong enough, try using a larger one or reinforce it with a second pin right below.

    1. If your hair is wavy, apply smoothing cream and blow dry hair straight using a flat paddle brush. 2. Then twist ends of hair around a large barreled curling iron to create big loose waves a la Jessica Rabbit (animated husband optional). 3. Part hair in a shallow side part. 4. Mist with flexible hold hairspray.

Girls, this seriously works!!! If you have long hair like me, 3 sections works best. I also tucked in the ends of the first two sections into my ponytail holder, and pinned the last one around all of them. Perfect!!!
