Does anything taste more like Fall than warm Apple Crisp? My recipe: Use a mix of apples for the best flavor (Granny Smith, Jonagold, Macintosh). Slice 5 or 6 medium apples & layer in buttered 8x8 pan. Mix 3/4 c. oatmeal, 3/4c. brown sugar, 1/2c. flour, 1/2c. softened butter, 1 tsp. cinnamon, & 1 tsp. salt 'til crumbly & sprinkle over the apples. Bake @ 350 for 35 min. Can double & bake in a 9x13 for a little under an hour.
