Costa Rica – The Haven For Tourists[Infographic] - goo.gl/V4qF1j

Around 300 mysterious ancient stone spheres or petrospheres are scattered throughout Costa Rica. Some are over 2 meters in diameter and weigh up to 16 tons. They were made into near perfect shapes. Estimated age: 500-2200 years. Almost all of them are made of granodiorite.

The Stone Spheres of Costa Rica. These beautiful stones were shaped 1000s of years ago to within 96% perfect spheres, virtually impossible to do with handmade tools.
