I played around with layering again using not only annie sloan chalk paint but with craft paint as well. I used a turquoise craft paint and watered it down really well making a wash. I also used the new crackle tex. IThe top is just a layer of coco chalk paint with dark wax and a good sanding to bring some of the old color through. The hardware was too "new" looking so I dry brushed them with a little french linen and then gave them a good dark wax.
Maison Decor: To Patina….I painted it in Chateau Grey Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. Then I drybrushed it with Duck Egg Chalk Paint. Followed up with some clear wax and then I was ready to add some patina. All the moldings got a bit of some Gilder Paste. We used some Antique gold gilders paste.
