Wonderful book series. Definitely worth reading them all! "What is MOBY About? In OUTLANDER, the story of Claire Beauchamp Randall was introduced, an English ex-combat nurse who walks through a stone circle in the Scottish Highlands in 1946, and disappears . . . into 1743. ...CNN has called it “a grand adventure written on a canvas that probes the heart, weighs the soul and measures the human spirit across [centuries].” Now the story continues in book eight, WRITTEN IN MY OWN HEART’S BLOOD."

Voyager by Diana GabaldonA very enjoyable book and a good continuation of the series. There is a lot happening in the volume - but the heroes make it to North America eventually. For all the unbelievable stuff that happens, it remains believable. Plenty of things for all sorts of readers to like.

Outlander...just one of those books you remember for years afterwords

#6 of 8. I always start off these novels resenting the enormity of them - and end them wishing for more. thankfully, i already own #7, and it will be my next read...mostly because the tv version of this book series is coming soon!

Diana Gabaldon: A Breath of Snow & Ashes (Outlander #6) The year is 1772, and on the eve of the American Revolution, the long fuse of rebellion has already been lit. Men lie dead in the streets of Boston, and in the backwoods of North Carolina, isolated cabins burn in the forest.
