My favorite of 2014! #Book Review: The Girl with All the Gifts, by M.R. Carey @ thesceniclife.com #amreading

Me Before You: A Novel by Jojo Moyes -- one of the most heart-breaking, compelling, and thought-provoking books I've read in a long time. Very well-written and hard to put down. Caveat: This book is not written from a Christian perspective, has quite a bit of language, and the plot line deals with suicide in a very raw form. I didn't agree with the outcome of the book, but it made me dig deep and think hard... and books that do that are ones I feel are very worth my time.

2014 Must Read Books this summer - These look like light, easy reading.

LOVED Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell - read my 5 star review on Dine & Dish

I actually liked The Girl You Left Behind better than Me Before You, which I think puts me solidly in the minority. I listened to the audiobook, which was excellent.
