My name is Joseph Catimbang, I'm a graphic designer based in California. I started drawing and sketching really young and I have been passionate about it for as long as I can remember probably even before I learn to say my name properly. I had the opportunity to grow up in the province, in a small town located in the Philippines, where simple living is common and farm animals are seen on a daily basis and where nature is at its best.
Norwegian visual artist Andreas Lie merges verdant landscapes and photographs of animals to creates subtle double exposure portraits. Snowy mountain peaks and thick forests become the shaggy fur of wolves and foxes, and even the northern lights appear through the silhouette of a polar bear. Lie is undoubtedly influenced by his surroundings in Bergen, Norway, a coastal city surrounded by seven mountains.:
