This doesn't even cover it all... add in foaming agents in chicken nuggets, plasticisers used in milkshakes and the fact that any meat labeled as "mechanically separated" involves the use of MORE chemicals and you are eating pieces of organs and bones in the process.
Especially during cold & flu season it's best to avoid mucus forming "foods" as they contribute to respiratory issues. My personal recommendation is to eliminate these items from your diet completely, except for grass-fed butter ... I LOVE that stuff
If this doesn’t convince you to eat healthy nothing will. and you can drink all the water you want without it costing you a calorie. 1 meal of junk calories or a lot of variety of healthier foods for the same calories.
