Perfect drink for Memorial Day or the fourth of July! The drink with the highest sugar content stays on the bottom. Use red fruit punch on bottom, blue Gatorade in the middle, and diet 7up or sprite on top.

How does it work? The drink with the highest sugar content stays on the bottom...use red fruit punch on the bottom, blue Gatorade in the middle, diet 7-up or Sprite on top. Super fun 4th of July drink!

This is more fourth of july colors so this would be cool for a fourth of july party but you can layer any color drinks you want. You just have to put the drink with the most sugar at the bottom. So you could do like Hawaiian punch on the bottom then blue gatorade in the middle and then like sprite or sierra mist on top.

I'm not sure what I did wrong then the colors did not sit on top of one another it just turned purple

What type of fruit punch did you use

  • Angie Barrett - Big Bear's Wife

I used Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice for the red. If you don't carefully pour the drink onto the ice (if you pour the blue directly into the red) it will mix into purple.

It makes a lot of punch so I probably won't be making another until our July 4th Cookout but I am will be glad to take more pictures then :)

Great idea for punch bowl decorations or for other floating decor: use the bottom portion of an empty 2 liter soda bottle to make flavored/colored ice. Add a little edible dye and freeze. Want to add a little SPARKLE? After it has been freezing for a little bit where the bottom is set and the top isn't, sprinkle edible glitter! It will look like a flower.

Layered Drinks - no alcohol - fun for the kids.July 4th Layered Drinks Printable Recipe Here Ingredients: •CranApple juice •Sobe Pina Colada flavored drink •G2 Gatorade •Ice Instructions: 1.Fill your glass 1/3 of the way full with CranApple juice. 2.Fill to the top with ice. 3.Slowly pour the remaining drinks directly on top of a piece of ice.

Layered Patriotic Drinks! Beautiful and delicious! Perfect for the 4th of July!

Drain juice from a can of Sliced Pineapple, replace with jello made with 1/2 of the water required on pkg. Chill until set. Run hot water on can sides & bottom to loosen. Cut bottom from can to punch mold out. Cut between pineapple slices & serve.

Patriotic punch- I am SO doing this for 4th of July! Super easy to make a delicious and impressive drink- and you can make it an adult version, too!

Not alcoholic. awesome These layered drinks would be so fun and refreshing at a Fourth of July picnic!

how smart is this?! flavored ice formed in a bundt pan and put at the bottom of your punch bowl to keep the drink cool and flavored all day long.

This is a great idea, and good if you used the lemonade, rather than water to form the ice circle, so it never dilutes the punch
