Trisha Yearwood's banana bread **Grandma's recipe*** 1/2 c crisco, 1 c sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c flour, 3 mashed bananas, 1 t baking soda dissolved in 1/4 c water. Mix crisco and sugar, then add eggs and bananas. Add soda mixture, then flour. Mix well and put in greased loaf pan or muffin tins. For bread, bake at 350 for 60 min. Not as long for muffins. ~Elaine
Trisha Yearwood's Uncle Wilson's Stuffed Peppers... my grandma has made these for me a few times and there have been times when i have eaten over half a dozen in one sitting. So good. HOWEVER, she mentions in the book that hard boiling the peppers will save time so my gandma tried it and they fell apart when she took them out of the oven and made the dish watery. So, don't hard boil the peppers and eat up!
