For its ‘2ndLives’ campaign in Vietnam, the brand launched a line of 16 innovative bottle caps that turns empty bottles into a totally new, and useful object. Each bottle cap is designed differently, giving the bottle a different function once screwed on. Some examples include a paintbrush, water spray, pencil sharpener, lamp and squeeze bottle.
This year, to encourage the reuse of their plastic bottles in Vietnam, Coca-Cola launched their ‘2nd Lives’campaign, a project that features 16 distinct bottle caps designed to get people of all ages to hang on to empty coke bottles by giving them a new purpose. Sapa Region, Vietnam. One of (if not the most) impressive examples of intensive agriculture. This is a great feat both physically and anthropologically as it proves how extensive land use is in Horticulture societies.

Floating Fruit Seller | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Taken in Halong Bay, Vietnam. These small boats came up to ours selling fruit. Surprisingly, some of the fruit sellers could speak Mandarin - guess they must get plenty of Mainland Chinese tourists here as well. It was 38C the day we were there so the fruit wasn't the freshest which is understandable but it certainly was colorful.

To celebrate the 38th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, authorities in the port city of Da Nang have opened the world's largest dragon bridge. Featuring more than 2,500 energy-efficient Philips LED lights, the dragon is capable of releasing bursts of fire from its mouth and can spit water during the country's major festivals or at weekends.

In honor of the 38th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, Da Nang City unveiled a 666 meter-long dragon-shaped bridge on Friday. The bridge was designed to resemble dragons from Vietnamese folklore. And so, in addition to a stunning bridge that looks like a dragon, the bridge’s dragon head also releases fire and shoots out water out of its mouth.
