this would make a nice bedspread for boys room...I have a pile of denim just need time to sew....

My mother has made one of these for my daddy, herself, my brother, my sister-in-law, my daughter and me. Ours have scraps from old flannel shirts and other saved fabrics mixed in with new flannels that she bought. She has also made one for each of my cousin's three little girls and for my best friend's new baby. They are precious! They are made of 'cutsey' baby flannels.

Denim Quilt: WIsh i knew how to sew, or have the patience for it.. i have so many pairs of jeans that could use a different purpose.

What a great denim patchwork quilt!! I've got oodles of jeans that have been waiting for such a project. Maybe I'll line the back w/an old shower curtain or vinyl tablecloth to make it a park/picnic blanket...

Reiko Nishida. The center of the quilt is made from denim jeans! The border is made from a traditional Japanese fabric called "Kurumekasuri"

Like the applique on the denim! And the pocket. This would be fun for a child's quilt with little hidey places in the pockets

Simple, scrappy denim quilt. I'm saving jeans so I can make this one.

Another stunning "old denim jeans" used to make a quilt / bed cover - always wondered about something like this for the boys

Anna has a skirt this will be cute on - though I don't think I'll put a heart right THERE on my 10yo.

Quilt by tubakk-quilt, via Flickr. No contact information given. Close inspection of the image (and notes on Flickr) reveal that what I thought was gray is actually denim, from old blue jeans. More subtle than I would have expected from "orange and blue," eg Clemson and Tennessee.
