#Pizzica is a traditional folk dance from #Apulia, #Italy. Pizzica means "itch" and it is related to the supposed effect of a #Tarantula spider bite on women, called "tarantate" as a synonim to "possessed". Following a funk of symptoms like vomiting, delirium and paranoia, the cure was the rite of the tarantula, which involved trance-dancing the pizzica, for days on end.Today pizzica has evolved in steps and meaning, involving sociality and sensuality. #Arialuxuryvillas #LuxuryHolidaysItaly
