Dallas Museum Volunteers to Return Mosaic to Turkey
After determining that an ancient marble mosaic purchased for its collection in 1999 had probably been stolen from a Turkish archaeological site years before, the Dallas Museum of Art has returned the piece, which dates from A.D. 194, to Turkey.
