CUTE - I love this idea. This was written by the person I borrowed this from: "What I love is that each morning, Charlotte and Amelia rush to their envelopes to see what we've written. The notes are sometimes a simple observation of a charitable act or a quick drawing to make them laugh. I love that Charles and I force ourselves to take a minute each evening to think about why we love our children. It's my version of Oprah's gratitude journal.
A lady at the post office taught me this trick and I have realized very few people know about it! You can turn a flat rate envelope into a pouch to increase the capacity. It holds more than a small flat rate box ($5.80) and about as much as a medium ($12.35) for only $5.60. So worth it! I do this all the time! Just fold the bottom both ways, and flatten it out from the inside, folding the corners and taping them up into a rectangular bottom. Secure with lots of tape. Happy shipping!
Simple smart! Add a little piece of tape or arrows to the wall to show kids the appropriate amount of toilet paper to pull. For more fun and helpful parenting content, visit the Sparkhouse Family parenting blog at http://blog.sparkhouse.org. #parenting
