Gilded silver female figurine, now named the “Revninge – woman”, can contribute to the knowledge on how clothes during the Viking age were worn.

"The Revninge woman". It's not really known what viking women really looked like. However, the discovery of this small gilt silver figurine, in Denmark, contains a wealth of detail giving new knowledge about costume and jewellery of the period. The figurine has been dated to 800CE.
